America Rising: A You Tube video….

Dr. David Barton - on Obama:

Respect the office?   Yes.
Respect the man in the office?   No, I am sorry to say.

I have noted that many elected officials, both Democrats and Republicans, called upon America to unite behind Obama.  Well, I want to make it clear to all who will listen that I AM NOT uniting behind Obama!

I will respect the Office which he holds, and I will acknowledge his abilities as an orator and word smith and pray for him, BUT that is it.  I have begun today to see what I can do to make sure that he is a one-term President !

Why am I doing this ?  It is because:
- I do not share Obama’s vision or value system for America ;
- I do not share his abortion beliefs;
- I do not share his radical Marxist’s concept of re-distributing wealth;
- I do not share his stated views on raising taxes on those who make $150,000+ (the ceiling has been changed three times since August);
- I do not share his view that America is arrogant;
- I do not share his view that America is not a Christian nation;
- I do not share his view that the military should be reduced by 25%;
- I do not share his view of amnesty and giving more to illegals than our American citizens who need help;
- I do not share his views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage;
- I do not share his views that Radical Islam is our friend and Israel is our enemy, who should give up any land;
- I do not share his spiritual beliefs (at least the ones he has made public);
- I do not share his beliefs on how to re-work the healthcare system in America ;
- I do not share his strategic views of the Middle East ; and
- I certainly do not share his plan to sit down with terrorist regimes such as Iran ..

Bottom line:  My America is vastly different from Obama’s and I have a higher obligation to my country and my GOD to do what is right !

For eight years, the Liberals in our Society, led by numerous entertainers who would have no platform and no real credibility but for their celebrity status, have attacked President Bush, his family, and his spiritual beliefs !

They have not moved toward the center in their beliefs and their philosophies, and they never came together nor compromised their personal beliefs for the betterment of our Country!
They have portrayed my America as a land where everything is tolerated except being intolerant !
They have been a vocal and irreverent minority for years !
They have mocked and attacked the very core values so important to the founding and growth of our Country !
They have made every effort to remove the name of GOD or Jesus Christ from our Society !
They have challenged capital punishment, the right to bear firearms, and the most basic principles of our criminal code !
They have attacked one of the most fundamental of all Freedoms: the right of free speech !

Unite behind Obama?   Never ! ! !

I am sure many of you who read this think that I am going overboard, but I refuse to retreat one more inch in favor of those whom I believe are the embodiment of evil!  PRESIDENT BUSH made many mistakes during his Presidency, and I am not sure how history will judge him.  However, I believe that he weighed his decisions in light of the long established Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Fathers!!!

Majority rules in America and I will honor the concept;  however, I will fight with all of my power to be a voice in opposition to Obama and his “goals for America”.  I am going to be a thorn in the side of those who, if left unchecked, will destroy our Country ! !  Any more compromise is more defeat !

I pray that the results of this election will wake up many who have sat on the sidelines and allowed the Socialist-Marxist, anti-GOD crowd to slowly change so much of what has been good in America !

“Error of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it.” -Thomas Jefferson
GOD bless you and GOD bless our Country ! ! !

Administrator’s note: Orators and wordsmiths historically have not had to rely on a teleprompter!  I disagree with Dr. Barton’s assessment that Mr. Obama is an “orator and wordsmith” — he  is merely a good reader.  We have not yet heard who actually writes his speeches.

How and Why!

Selected excerpts from a speech by Brigitte Gabriel:

We gather here today to share information and knowledge. Intelligence is not merely cold hard data about numerical strength or armament or disposition of military forces. The most important element of intelligence has to be understanding the mindset and  intention of the enemy. The West has been wallowing in a state of ignorance and denial for thirty years as Muslim extremist perpetrated evil against innocent victims in the name of Allah.

I was ten years old when my home exploded around me, burying me under the rubble and leaving me to drink my blood to survive, as the perpetrators shouted, ‘Allah Akbar!’ My only crime was that I was a Christian living in a Christian town. At 10 years old, I learned the meaning of the word ‘infidel.’

I had a crash course in survival. Not in the Girl Scouts, but in a bomb shelter where I lived for seven years in pitch darkness, freezing cold, drinking stale water and eating grass to live. At the age of 13, I dressed in my burial clothes going to bed at night, waiting to be slaughtered. By the age of 20, I had buried most of my friends–killed by Muslims. We were not Americans living in New York , or Britons in London . We were Arab Christians living in Lebanon.

As a victim of Islamic terror, I was amazed when I saw Americans waking up on September 12, 2001, and asking themselves ‘Why do they hate us?’ The psychoanalyst experts were coming up with all sort of excuses as to what did we do to offend the Muslim World. But if America and the West were paying attention to the Middle East they would not have had to ask the question. Simply put, they hate us because we are defined in their eyes by one simple word: ‘infidels.’

Under the banner of Islam ‘la, ilaha illa Allah, muhammad rasoulu Allah,’ (None is god except Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah) they murdered Jewish children in Israel, massacred Christians in Lebanon, killed Copts in Egypt, Assyrians in Syria, Hindus in India, and expelled almost 900,000 Jews from Muslim lands. We Middle Eastern infidels paid the price then. Now infidels worldwide are paying the price for indifference and shortsightedness.

Tolerating evil is a crime. Appeasing murderers doesn’t buy protection. It earns one disrespect and loathing in the enemy’s eyes. Yet apathy is the weapon by which the West is committing suicide. Political correctness forms the shackles around our ankles, by which Islamist’s are leading us to our demise.

America and the West are doomed to failure in this war unless they stand up and identify the real enemy: Islam. You hear about Cahaba and Salafi Islam as the only extreme form of Islam. All the other Muslims, supposedly, are wonderful moderates. Closer to the truth are the pictures of the irrational eruption of violence in reaction to the cartoons of Mohammed printed by a Danish newspaper.  From burning embassies, to calls to butcher those who mock Islam, to warnings that the West be prepared for another holocaust, those pictures have given us a glimpse into the real face of the enemy. News pictures and video of these events represent a canvas of hate decorated by different nationalities who share one common ideology of hate, bigotry and intolerance derived from one source: authentic Islam. An Islam that is awakening from centuries of slumber to re-ignite its wrath against the infidel and dominate the world. An Islam which has declared ‘Intifada’ on the West.

America and the West can no longer afford to lay in their lazy state of overweight ignorance. The consequences of this mental disease are starting to attack the body, and if they don’t take the necessary steps now to control it, death will be knocking soon. If you want to understand the nature of the enemy we face, visualize a tapestry of snakes. They slither and they hiss, and they would eat each other alive, but they will unite in a hideous mass to achieve their common goal of imposing Islam on the world.

This is the ugly face of the enemy we are fighting. We are fighting a powerful ideology that is capable of altering basic human instincts. An ideology that can turn a mother into a launching pad of death. A perfect example is a recently elected Hamas official in the Palestinian Territories who raves in heavenly joy about sending her three sons to death and offering the ones who are still alive for the cause. It is an ideology that is capable of offering highly educated individuals such as doctors and lawyers far more joy in attaining death than any respect and stature life in society is ever capable of giving them.

The United States has been a prime target for radical Islamic hatred and terror. Every Friday, mosques in the Middle East ring with shrill prayers and monotonous chants calling death, destruction and damnation down on America and its people. The radical Islamist deeds have been as vile as their words. Since the Iran hostage crisis, more than three thousand Americans have died in a terror campaign almost unprecedented in its calculated cruelty along with thousands of other citizens worldwide. Even the Nazis did not turn their own children into human bombs, and then rejoice at their deaths as well the deaths of their victims. This intentional, indiscriminate and wholesale murder of innocent American citizens is justified and glorified in the name of Islam.

America cannot effectively defend itself in this war unless and until the American people understand the  nature of the enemy that we face. Even after 9/11 there are those who say that we must engage our terrorist enemies, that we must address their grievances. Their grievance is our freedom of religion . Their grievance is our freedom of speech . Their grievance is our democratic process where the rule of law comes from the voices of many not that of just one prophet. It is the respect we instill in our children towards all religions. It is the equality we grant each other as human beings sharing a planet and striving to make the world a better place for all humanity. Their grievance is the kindness and respect a man shows a woman, the justice we practice as equals under the law, and the mercy we grant our enemy. Their grievance cannot be answered by an apology for who or what we are.

Our mediocre attitude of not confronting Islamic forces of bigotry and hatred wherever they raised their ugly head in the last 30 years, has empowered and strengthened our enemy to launch a full scale attack on the very freedoms we cherish in their effort to impose their values and way of life on our civilization.
If we don’t wake up and challenge our Muslim community to take action against the terrorists within it, if we don’t believe in ourselves as Americans and in the standards we should hold every patriotic American to, we are going to pay a price for our delusion. For the sake of our children and our country, we must wake up and take action. In the face of a torrent of hateful invective and terrorist murder, America ’s learning curve since the Iran hostage crisis is so shallow that it is almost flat. The longer we lay supine, the more difficult it will be to stand erect.

This is all coming true. A non-patriot pro-Muslim is President of this great country. How can this happen?? APATHY, that’s how!!!

Labels…

One of the saddest aspects of the current public outlook is our acceptance of labels given to us by members of our society who dislike and resent us.  One of the best examples of this type of abuse is the general use of the term capitalism, or if used about an individual, is capitalist.

If one traveled to almost any community in the United States and asked the people “Is the US a capitalist society or were the founders of our country capitalists?”, the answer would be “yes”.  Fortunately, that reply would be wrong!  Not one of the individuals who participated in the founding of this country was in the real sense a capitalist and the social order they were attempting to create was, in its underlying convictions, opposed to such a concept.

To understand this seemingly contradictory statement and see why this term has become such a useful tool of those who oppose a free society one must be aware of its history and its present common usage.  The expression ‘capitalism’, which has a valid use as a description of an economic system, became a word which described not only an economic process but a social viewpoint in the nineteenth century, the eighteen hundreds.  As Karl Marx’s theories were spread and his image of class war, greed and persecution of the poor spread throughout the world the term ‘capitalist’ took on its current derogatory meaning.  This shift in emphasis made the word into a perfect tool for flogging the successful and becoming a supporter of the people!

Most of us use language that we have gathered through day to day usage.  We hear a term and as we, in turn, begin to use it we repeat the implied meaning we have gathered from its every day presence.  The underlying most important philosophical changes which this type of superficial learning brings about never enters our minds.  An excellent example of this type of potentially drastic lack of understanding is given in Robert Ardrey’s introduction to Eugene Marais’ book “The Soul Of The Ape”.  Ardrey wrote “There is an irony in our supposition that the United States and the Soviet Union (this was written in the Cold War) live in worlds apart as well as opposed.  Both of our societies are founded on materialism – the didactic materialism of communism, the utopian materialism of capitalism.  We must both believe in the omnipotence of he material environment.  If we lose that faith, then the Soviet Union must cease to believe that the environment of a perfect socialist society will produce a new and perfect man.  If we lose that faith, then the United States of America must cease to believe that in a society of perfect, universal affluence all men will be good and true.”  In this statement Ardrey has not only demonstrated the underlying philosophical importance of one’s use of language, but he has also shown the vast and fatal distance we have traveled from the outlook of our founders.

The political world of the eighteenth century, the seventeen hundreds, which it was beginning to examine the then new political ideas based on ‘materialism’ was, in most cases, still firmly rooted in the spiritual outlook of its Judeo-Christian foundation.  In short, they had not yet accepted the idea that humanity was, at bottom, a vast group of puzzlingly clever ‘lumps of meat’, which is what materialism implies.  Because of this such concepts as human dignity, human rights, and human responsibility to one’s neighbors and the world at large had real meaning.  Lumps of meat are not bothered by these things.

Since the founders of this nation believed in this tradition of real values then human freedom, human purpose, and a responsibility to our fellow humans, and our world were not just grand sounding words but real directing entities.  They would have examined the economic system of capitalism or socialism but would have used or rejected them based on a view of reality which went far beyond any purely material factor.  In fact, this is just what they did.

By losing this type of understanding we have made ourselves into the victims of propaganda and abuse.  We now accept much of the corruption of language and its resultant abuse.  Because of this and other intellectual failures we, unless we change, will accept the corruption and destruction of our world.

Racism!

 I am disgusted and depressed by the actions, or lack of them, among my fellow citizens.  Just at a time when it seemed that we the public were beginning to be freed from the curse, or political disease, called racism, we see it returning.

In the past this social evil was largely a product of those cancerous elements within the white community who could use the unthinking biases and emotional responses among the most susceptible of their fellow citizens to further their own evil ends.  Money was to be made and political power developed by preying upon those less fortunate individuals in society who could safely be maligned and even physically abused.

The black population of that time was an ideal target.  Many of them had emerged from a situation which provided almost no educational opportunity and who were unjustly categorized as inferior or second class citizens.  This situation was not unique.  As far back as ancient Rome, Cicero, a well educated and respected Roman, wrote to a friend warning him not to buy British slaves because they were stupid and difficult to train.  This problem of personal, cultural, and historical difference has repeated itself over and over again throughout all of time.  Rather than use a knowledge of this to inform the public that the obvious differences of some individuals or groups among our fellow citizens is due to cultural or social backgrounds, the human cancers among us use the differences of some groups to enhance their own social positions and power.

These creatures have a broad base upon which they can work.  All of us, from time to time, are annoyed or disturbed by what we see in fellow human beings as failures to act as we would have them do.  The habitual and unthinking response to this feeling is “Why don’t they behave like me?”  If this resented behavior is seen to be socially dangerous or distasteful often our immediate response is openly reactive.  We are all, from time to time, victims of this type of behavior.

The less prone we, the general public, are to act thoughtfully, or have had a little training to examine ourselves and see the damage done to others by egocentric and thoughtless responses such as “Why don’t they like me?”, the more susceptible we are to bigotry and unjustified hate.

Unfortunately there are those among us, white, black, red, or an impossible green, who by their own antisocial behavior such as theft, murder, bribery, and even deliberately gross and offensive behavior, reinforce the unthinking reaction of some of the general public.  Sadly, many who are not of this group are mistakenly included in the general condemnation and rejection.  The most tragic and evil element of all is the large group of political and business manipulators who, knowingly, use, stir up, and corrupt their own social groups for their personal gain or social power.  These individuals are the true human monsters and it is their activity which will destroy our society.  Like many other gifted but stupid people of the past their egocentric greed will pull down the stability and security of the state upon themselves as well as the rest of us.

There never has been a ‘super race’.  There have always been more or less successful social systems and within these societies, good or ineffectual, there have always been individuals who excel or fail.  Some are white, some are black, some are red, and if any ever appeared, some might be green.  We all have a choice.  We can join the group with common sense or we can fan our little egos and grievances and help to destroy our world.  Take your pick.

Culture and Society!

In earlier efforts to examine the underlying causes of our obvious progressive social decay the term ‘culture’, which is in fact the basis of social action, has been used over and over again.

Unfortunately due to the current ‘cultural’ outlook, a reasonable level of literacy is not of much interest to the present American populace.  Because of this a term such as ‘culture’ is seen as elitism and it’s more popular usage such as the products of Hollywood or the hard rock community are the only known or accepted meanings of the word.  When one (anyone) uses the word culture in its most fundamental and important sense one (anyone) is referring to that complex of concepts and judgements which form the basis of thought, speech, and action in all societies.   Even primitive and simple social groups who have no written language have, from handed down rules and legends, a ‘primitive culture’.

When two young people in today’s society discuss some contemplated activity and ones says, “Hey man, we can’t do that - it’s wrong!” and the other individual says, “Don’t be a jerk, lots of people do it and they don’t get no pain from it, they do better than the wimps like you.”  These are cultural statements.  One participant is presenting the concept of a basic ethic, a universal, a realization that there are fundamental laws of action.  The other is a modernist who rejects this traditional belief and assumes that he, or she, can make up their own rules.  One is saying that like gravity, sooner or later a rejection of its power, and truth, will have its consequences.  This many not happen to a given individual but society, through time, will inevitably be affected by ‘wrong decisions’.  The other thinks his or her desires are what is important and there are not ‘natural’ laws.

This sounds so simple and obvious but there are individuals of influence in current society presented as intellectuals or people of great social weight who believe this way.  The total self interest is hidden under academically accepted terms such as ‘subjectivism’ or ‘relativism’, but what is actually stated is ‘me-ism’ and society can just accept the fatal results!

Promises Kept …..???? Ya, Right.

2011 W-2 TAX FORMS – SURPRISE, SURPRISE

“Fight organized crime! Re-elect no one.”

Should you want to verify this, go to http://www.thomas.gov/, enter “HR 3590″ in the search box and look for “CRS Summaries.”  This is what you’ll find.

Title IX Revenue Provisions—Subtitle A:  Revenue Offset “(Sec. 9002) Requires employers to include in the W-2 form of each employee the aggregate cost of applicable employer-sponsored group health coverage that is excludable from the employee’s gross income (excluding the value of contributions to flexible spending arrangements).”

 Starting in 2011—next year—the W-2 tax form sent by your employer will be increased to show the value of whatever health insurance you are provided. It doesn’t matter if you’re retired. Your gross income WILL go up by the amount of insurance your employer paid for. So you’ll be required to pay taxes on a larger sum of money that you actually received. Take the tax form you just finished for 2009 and see what $15,000.00 or $20,000.00 additional gross income does to your tax debt. That’s what you’ll pay next year. For many it puts you into a much higher bracket. This is how the government is going to buy insurance for fifteen (15) percent that don’t have insurance and it’s only part of the tax increases, but it’s not really a “tax increase” as such, it is a redefinition of your taxable income.

Also, go to Kiplinger’s and read about the thirteen (13) tax changes for 2010 that could affect you.

Why am I sending you this? The same reason I hope you forward this to every single person in your address book. People have the right to know the truth because an election is coming in November. So “vote intelligently,” based on your values.

But also adjust your tax withholding, or increase your savings, so that you aren’t surprised and put in a jam when your federal income taxes are due on April 15, 2012.

Additionally, the current 2.9% Medicare tax goes up to 3.8% and in addition to applying to payroll taxes, now also applies to interest, dividends, incentives, and all other income types.

Remember, the Bush tax cuts expire at the end of the year . . . that places everyone in a higher tax bracket.

545 PEOPLE By Charlie Reese

(Charley  Reese has been a journalist for 49 years.)

Politicians are the only people in the world  who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever  wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if  all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have  inflation and high taxes?

You and I don’t propose a federal budget.  The president does.

You and I don’t have the  Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of  Representatives does.

You and I don’t write the tax code, Congress  does.

You and I don’t set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You  and I don’t control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve  Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one  president, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human  beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally,  and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague  this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve  Board because that problem was created by the  Congress.  In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty  to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central  bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a  sound reason.. They have no legal authority.  They have no  ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one  cotton-picking thing.  I don’t care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash.  The  politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what  the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator’s responsibility  to determine  how he votes

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy  convincing you that what they did is not their fault.   They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.
What  separates a politician from a normal human being is an  excessive amount of gall.  No normal  human being would have the gall of a  Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating  deficits..  The president can only propose a budget.   He cannot force the Congress to accept  it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the  land, gives sole responsibility to the House of  Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes.  Who is the speaker of the House?   Nancy Pelosi.  She is  the leader of the majority party.  She and  fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want.  If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if  they agree  to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted — by present facts — of  incompetence and irresponsibility.  I can’t think of a  single domestic problem  that is not traceable directly to those 545 people.  When you fully  grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal  government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to  exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it’s because they want it  unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it’s because they want it in  the red ..

If the Army &Marines are in  IRAQ ,  it’s because they want them in IRAQ

If they do not  receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available  to the people, it’s because they want it that way.

There are no  insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift  the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can  abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to  regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can  take this power.  Above all, do not let them con you into  the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like “the  economy,” “inflation,” or “politics” that prevent them from doing  what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they  alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the  power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the  people who are their bosses.

Provided the voters have the  gumption to manage their own employees.

We should vote all of  them out of office and clean up their mess!

He’s good and sore.
Then tax his coffin,
